Job Description:
HARDWARE ASSOCIATE/CASHIER COLONIAL HARDWARE Colonial Hardware is seeking an associate/cashier that knows tools and hardware.
Applicant must have at least 2 years retail experience and have a valid driver's license.
This opportunity requires some work on alternating weekends and some holidays.
Must have an interest in home improvement and enjoy listening to customer's projects and questions concerning inventory.
Primary duties include scanning customer selections, ensuring that prices and quantities are accurate, accepting payments, issuing receipts, answering inquiries, and providing helpful information to customers about products, promotions, or item location.
Also, responding to complaints, processing refunds or exchanges of items, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Employee will be standing and walking for long periods of time as you meet and help customers with their questions.
Skills necessary include being an effective communicator with lots of different personalities, being friendly and having a willingness to learn, follow directions and general computer literacy.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
