Summary:
The Leasing Agent is the property's sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned community and property, and secure lease agreements from qualified persons.
A Leasing Agent is service oriented and strives to make current residents and prospective residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.
Summary of Duties and
Responsibilities:
Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments Maintain a professional, but friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the community Inspects models and market ready vacancies daily Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call professionally Greet prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present community and show apartments suitable to the prospect's needs while communicating features and benefits Maintain daily property advertising materials Accurately and promptly complete all paperwork related to prospective applications and leases Accept rents and deposits
Qualifications:
Positions requires good leasing and closing skills and have at least 1 year of selling experience Person must be able to type 30 WPM Prefer at least 2 years of customer service Person must be organized.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
