Duties of the Administrative Professional include providing support to our partners and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities.
Administrative Professional responsibilities include communicating with clients, preparing certain financial reports, maintaining organization of filing systems and the general managing of day-to-day operations of the firm.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to maintain organization of firm operations and have a pleasant and courteous attitude.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls Act as the point of contact for clients with a friendly and cheerful attitude Provide general support to any vendors or maintenance workers Order and stock office supplies and research new deals and suppliers Take detailed notes at meetings Maintain a filing system Make daily bank deposits and post office runs Organize and distribute mail daily Correspond with clients to obtain needed documents and signatures Scanning and organization of client documents Use of various software programs to track tax return activity Assemble tax return packages and answer questions regarding tax forms and filing instructions Reconcile and submit credit card statements monthly Manage the day-to-day tasks of interns Organize and execute firm breaks, parties, meetings and events Complete any tasks assigned by the partners in a timely manner Light tech support on some office equipment Assemble financial statements Requirements:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Working knowledge of common office equipment, such as printers, fax machines, computers, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Have a love for people and is able to maintain positive client interactions High School degree; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or experience working in an accounting firm will be a plus Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
