We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager to oversee the Paint, Paint Prep, and Powder Coating operations within our organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of industrial painting processes, including surface preparation, paint application, and powder coating techniques.
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide leadership and direction to the Paint, Paint Prep, and Powder Coating teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee all aspects of the painting and powder coating processes, including surface preparation, mixing and application of coatings, curing, and finishing.
Monitor production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality finished products.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment, materials, and finished products to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment, and technologies, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions.
Analyze production data, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the paint, paint prep, or powder coating industry.
In-depth knowledge of industrial painting processes, equipment, and materials, with hands-on experience in surface preparation, coating application, and curing techniques.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and delivering results in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.
g.
, ISO 9001), lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
